I'm 21 years old (was a gymnast) and I'm trying to help an overweight girl I've known since I was 12 years old. I want to train her properly, but I'm afraid that my calisthenics training wouldn't help her immediately. She is 210 lbs, 5'3, with slightly weak knees. If there is any books/sites/suggestions that I should check out, I would really appreciate it. I'm thinking of putting her on a proper diet (using the Zone diet) to hopefully change the way her metabolism works. ANY help is welcomed.
