This a great web site my friend used this when she had surgery. She even made up a picture schedule for her son who has ds.Sent from my iPod

I was recently reading the latest Guideposts magazine and came across an article about a husband who started this website -- http://www.lotsahelpinghands.com/. His wife was very sick with cancer and he had a lot of todo items -- one of which was rescheduling his daughter's Bat Mitzvah to make it sooner so that his wife would be alive to attend. His friends and family pitched in and checked off one todo item at a time so that the Bat Mitzvah could be earlier and he could spend his time with his wife as she received her treatments in the months before she died. He was very surprised and grateful for at all the "helping hands". He then started this website to organize people's todo lists and calendars

during times of need so that their friends and family can easily pick a todo item on the list. For example, they could pick a night to bring dinner, or drive the kids to their sports events, or pick up the kids from school, etc. Of course, we all hope to never need to use this website, but, it's nice to know that it's there, in case we do.
