Weight Loss and Bodyfat

I am 5'10''and weigh 185 lbs. Like half the US population, I am

planning a diet after the holidays with the goal of losing 10 lbs. My

questions are how much of the ten lbs I expect to lose will be body fat

and how much will be lean tissue, assuming I continue with my current

fitness routine (see below)? Relatedly, is there anything I can do to

maximize the loss of bodyfat vs lean tissue?

I am 56, play tennis 3 days a week and I strength train 3 days a week.

Strength training consists of 50 minute sessions, mostly cables,

machines, and dumbells. I do not know my current body fat percentage

but it is high. Even when I was young, I was not muscular by any

stretch---bad genetics I guess. So, I would hate to lose much of the

small amount of muscle I currently have.
