Guest guest
You have a good eye. I overlooked the side panels, and I am interested in getting something like this. Do you know if the side, back, and feet IR elements are all powered rather than reflective? Also kind of curious about a way to use this device to FIR abdominal fat. Any thoughts? Guest guest
Something to think about: The moisture in a steam sauna plays an important role in the absorption of ozone through the skin. In a FIR sauna, the only moisture present will be that created by sweating. From the way they talk, one's body must be exposed to steam, and that's the only way the ozone will be absorbed into the system. However, from my own experience, you don't need steam to begin the absorption process. I have an ozone generator with a tube leading into a body suit. It's crude, and you can't adjust the flow or the rate. What's more, there's no sweating mechanism to make you sweat, except for the " insensible " sweat (meaning the " not easily sensed " ) that the skin is naturally emitting anyway. I have used this device and still felt the effects of ozone. So I don't think you need much sweat. If the person is already sweating from a FIR sauna, it seems to me, that's plenty to allow the ozone to penetrate and do its job. If I could feel the effects of ozone while in my not-very-professional ozone body suit without a sauna, then I think a FIR sauna would work just fine. I did not specifically mention a particular FIR sauna that is impervious to ozone. I said that theoretically, one *could* make a FIR sauna that could be equipped with ozone. A fiberglass shell is one criterion for having an ozone-resistant sauna. Nina
Guest guest
Ozone will absorb about 1/10 " into the skin, enough to get intocapillaries. It isn't the steam or the wet that makes the ozone go deeper, it is the heat, that opens the pores so the ozone can get about 1/4 " deep into the tissue. Well into the bloodstream. jim Nina Silver wrote: > Re: fir > > > > >>Something to think about: The moisture in a steam sauna plays an >>important role in the absorption of ozone through the skin. >>In a FIR sauna, the only moisture present will be that created by sweating. >> >>Dennis >> >> > >I have heard from various steam sauna proponents that water on the skin is >necessary for ozone absorption. Guest guest
Dear Jim, Actually, it IS the moisture that is helping. When you funnel on the skin outside the sauna, it will penetrate as long as the skin is wet. If the skin is dry, the ozone can't penetrate. This is one of the reasons that the ozone bag is less effective than the sauna, because the skin gets dry after a while. The pores opening due to heat improves the situation, of course. Guest guest
What do pores open or closed have to do with ozone entering the body? Chown of Longevity Resources Inc. is the one who told me about moisture being important for effective ozone absorption through the skin. I'll have to check with him for the reason. Guest guest
Dear , In 1999, Prof. Velio Bocci of the UNiversity of Siena, Italy, performed a series of tests using our ozone sauna. His results were subsequently published in the European Journal of Physiology. His results showed that ozone had penetrated the skin and entered the bloodstream, and produced measurable changes in the blood, indistinguishable from the changes produced by autohemotherapy. Guest guest
Dear Rob, I have seen older boats with an interior surface that was powdery. It all depends on how they finish the interior. We have saunas in use that were produced in 1996 used for many thousands of ozone saunas, with no evidence of changes to the interior surface. Best of Health! I was in an older fiberglass O3 sauna and the inside wall was powdery. I wonder what that was? Rob. _________________________________________________________________ Tired of spam? Guest guest
Dear , Autohemotherapy means taking an amount of blood out of a vein, usually about 300 cc, into a flask; adding heparin to prevent coagulation; then ozonating it, and shaking the flask vigorously; and then dripping the blood back into the vein. It takes about 30 minutes from start to finish. Ozone will inactivate all viruses. If you want more in depth information, I will email you my book, The Story of Ozone. Best of Health! I looked it up in the medical dictionary and could not find the word. Also are viruses such as HIV and Hepatitis aerobic or anaerobic and what effect does the ozone have on them. Thanks. Guest guest
Jim, I am thinking about buying an ozone steam suana and your response below was my last question. Namely, how do I know that the ozone in a suana will get into the bloodstream and the organs. Do you have any research on this, namely that it gets into the organs and bloodstream. Please respond. Thanks. Flynn 1447 Peachtree St. NE Suite 414 Atlanta, Ga. 30309 Tao400@...
