I hear that one my cats put the new fosters in there places right off the bat. And each new one changes the make up of the "pack" and its interesting to watch it all fall in place. And almost heart breaking when one goes to its "foreverhome" and the remaining ones mope and look for there lost buddy. But I know I can't keep them all and screen all the prospective new owners really well and put them through a mill to make sure the dog and new family are a good fit. Most stay in touch and I get pics and up dates on how they are doing.

I worked at a pet stores off and on my entire life and one of the down falls of doing so is taking home all the unwanted "special needs" critters. My small zoo to this date includes 3 cats (16 yrs, 5 yrs and 8 yrs old), 2 rottwilers (2 yrs and 7 months old), a bluetonged skink lizard, a rose haired tarantula, a pack man frog, 3 amazon birds and 2 fish tanks. And work is trying to get me to take home 2 more lizards and a rat someone dumped off. OK I know I have "sucker" on my forehead and I got to learn when to say enough is enough especially now that I am going to have to slow down for a while.
