I don't know if you have tried BEST ( Bio Energetic Synchronization Technique)

It has saved my life when all the doctors wanted was to cut on my back.

That was 10 years ago.

It is a technique widely used by health care practitioners who practice

mind/body healing and who recognize that the body is more than the sum of

it's parts. It's a system of health care that balances Body/Mind/Memory and

Soul Energy fields. When these energy fields are out of balance, symptoms

develop and health deteriorates.

Dr Morter teaches this and you can find a practitioner in your aerea on this

page.

Karl,

Wobenzyme or Megazyme enzymes are taken to reduce inflammation and do a good

job. I would start there.

Good luck.

You might also go to www.emofree.com and download the free manual--Emotional

Freedom Technique. Learn the simple technique and give it a try. About a month

ago an 80 year old woman, a family friend called. She was in terrible back pain

and had been to a pain clinic two days previously and had been given two

injections. She lives rather close to me and it was Sunday, I volunteered to go

to her house and give her an EFT session.

After 10 minutes of EFT, her back pain intensity had gone from a 9.5 to .5.

We did some more work on the sudden death of her daughter a few months before.

This back pain has not returned. She has had back pain for years although not

to the intensity of the day she called.

I also know Dr. Morter's technique which Christel recommended and can second

her motion:>)

Dear Karl,

Have you tried a magnet over the hip area where the pain originates?

Always have the north pole facing the body; 20 minutes at a time.

This has worked for dozens of people that I know of.

3500 gauss is a good strength. If you can't find one, I have them.

Best of Health!

I am plagued by sciatic nerve pain in my left upper pelvic area with

pain shooting all the way down to the toes at times. The pain seems

to have become chronic. 20-some years ago I fell over my dog while

running and since then the misery has come and gone and has now come

home to stay. Nothing I have tried has been encouraging but I am

still convinced that there is an answer to this thing other than

someone doing some investigative carving which would more likely than

not aggravate the problem.

Supposedly my spine is fine, range of motion is fine, everything is

" adjusted. " I've had deep massages, shallow massages, heat,

adjustments by numerous practitioners, acupuncture, checks for food

allergies, using a Chi machine on a regular basis, FIR sauna on a

regular basis, detox on an ongoing basis (had a bout with mercury

poisoning) I detox around the clock in various and sundry ways (rather

serious about it for at least a year). I eat intelligently, take

WaterOz, drink distilled water, my immune system seems to be in good

shape, my blood pressure and pulse are better than good. I don't eat

junkfood, sugar. I take apple cider vinegar. No fried foods and stay

away from all know no-nos. I am a vegetarian and try to be an

intelligent one. My pH is a steady 6.6-6.8. On the negative side - I

don't get enough sleep during the workweek, have a high-stress job

(high school teacher) had a serious bout with depression a few years

ago, get vicious headaches if I get more than small quantities of

calcium (carrot juice, tofu) or eat chili peppers.

Some practitioners tell me it's a calcium buildup where the nerve

trunk goes through the bone, others think it must be an

out-of-adjustment spine, others think it's toxicity of blood and/or

tissue. I am bewildered by it all and think it's a deep seated

inflammation. Can anyone out there shed some light on this, beyond

the multitude of guesses already offered? I would be sooooo grateful

and I'm certainly willing to learn and to try. Oh, yes, I'm a tad

over 60, but I don't buy into this " it's a normal thing of getting

old " mindset. Thank you.-- Karl

Frances-jo,

I am wondering, if you rub hard along the top of the back of your

hipbone, just under the top, does it hurt sharply I am talking about the

curve from the coxyx, in an arc up & around where the gluteus medius &

maximus attach to the hip. And/or does pushing in & rubbing on the top

of your thighbone joint hurt sharply?

Karl,

May I suggest this website www.coconut-info.com and articles therein

concerning the use of soy and other cold seed oils. These products

are anti-thyroid and when the thyroid is disrupted so is respiration

and liver function.

When thyroid is disrupted or even stress is high estrogen is

increased, even in men and progesterone may be something to look

into. There is a yahoo group devoted to enlightening men to the use

of progesterone and it has excerpts from books/articles in the posts

(only 56 so far) which may enlighten.

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Progesterone4Prostatehealth

When thyroid and other hormones are balanced, there should not be any

pain. I have found this to be true for me.

See efn.org/~raypeat/ for hormone and diet related articles

Your diet may hold part of the key. Being intelligent about your

vegetarian diet may also mean continuing education on that regard.

Your sleep is also a huge factor. When you do get to bed, be sure to

block out all sources of light, including LED clock light. We need

to sleep in total darkness for melatonin production. If you get up

in the night, use only a flashlight or nightlight.

Search at Google: melatonin and night light

How is your magnesium? Magnesium needs to be taken in a higher ratio

to calcium...if you take a cal/mag supplement. Perhaps only

magnesium is needed....as a trial. Do not take with meals as it will

decrease stomach acid.

To sum it all up: when the thyroid and other hormones are working

properly there is no edema to press on tissues ie nerves to cause

pain.

Ann

PS What is your average body temperature? Do you have problems with

edema anywhere in your body most noticeable upon waking? Or lower

legs/ankles swelling toward the end of the day?

I'm a tad over 60, but I don't buy into this " it's a normal thing of

getting old " mindset. Thank you.-- Karl
