Guest guest
, So nice to meet you. We have a wonderful group of people here and everyone loves to help. I know you will benefit from all the posts as well. Take a look on the site and you will see in the archieves many more that are extremely helpful too. It is so nice to hear that it has been helpful to you in your daily life. Take care..Nola -- thank you Dear All, This is my first post here. I've been on the list for some time but chose to observe first. So far, I like what I've seen and am absolutely grateful for the posts -- especially the write-ups from Louise Hay. They always come at a perfect time and they help me to cope with the day-to-day challenges that seem to have been cropping up a little bit more often lately (but I understand that it's a chemicalization period so I'm pretty calm about it now). Anyway, thank you for the post on Divine Order and on the affirmation for dealing with problems. I used it with great effect yesterday. I was asked by a domestic help for an advance on her salary as she needs it for medical help. I gave her yesterday all that I had in my wallet -- it was a Sunday -- and said that I'd see what I could do to raise the rest of the cash she needed today. But I didn't know where it would be coming from because what I have is already allocated for other things that I have to pay for. And the cash I'm expecting will be coming sometime this week but not today -- when she needed it. I was slightly depressed because I was thinking -- Dear God -- how could I not be able to help someone in my employ? Then, I went through my e-mail messages and found the affirmation on Divine Order and that all is well and that only good could come from this situation and to all involved. I copied that out and affirmed it and fell asleep with that affirmation in mind. This morning, the mother of my help called and said that the money is no longer needed as her daughter was able to get medical check-up and medicines -- for free! I felt relieved and I know that whatever I'll give her this midweek will just be extra. Truly, the Universe is wonderful. And so are all of you. Guest guest
, Welcome to affirmations!! I can't thank you enough for your comments here -- our group seems to go through cycles -- sometimes, many people seem to write in and tell us these really neat stories about how affirmations have helped in their personal lives -- and then there are those times where we seem to go a long time without any such response. Your comments caught us at a time where we have not had many positive stories in awhile. Your timing is excellent! You really made my day -- even us moderators need to hear some of these uplifting, motivating stories from time to time, as we can also get caught up in our lives and our " stuff " and occasionally forget just how great affirmations can really be!!!! Let us know if we can do anything to help -- and we will try to continue having these wonderful affirmation messages as often as possible! Have a super week! Your story was such wonderful news!! Guest guest
I'm so sorry for your loss, . Sounds as though he was a very special young man. Your efforts to learn and spread information about asthma to help yourself and others will be a real tribute to his memory. H. I just wanted to say thank you to all of you who replied to my first email. My nephew was laid to rest on Monday. It is never easy to go to any funeral but to someone so young with so much promise for life makes it even harder. Josh suffered with his asthma all of his life but we never thought this would be what takes his life from us. It's been so hard on my family. It was obvious that Josh was very much loved and cared about but I just didn't know until Monday how loved he was until I walked into the funeral home. He had so many friends and they all showed their respect by wearing shirts hats etc that were airbrushed with his picture and name on it. It was all very sad and we would all just love to have him back but know that god had other plans. My brother is taking it so very hard and my ex sister in law is not doing very well at all in fact I am very worried about her and my other nieces and nephews. Like I said I want to learn as much about asthma as I can so I caneducated everyone about it and help myself as well since I have asthma my self. Thank you all again. .
