Jerry... I am so sorry about your father. No matter how much I knew my father

had a limited time to live... his passing carried such enormous grief. I am so

sorry your father was unable to make it through the holidays. I will be

praying that your family will have safety and peace through the days ahead.

Good News/Bad News

We received a call from

Wisconsin, my father had passed away just minutes earlier. We knew he had

been in failing health but all of us were hoping he'd make it through the

holidays with us. It wasn't to be.

My prayers are with you during this time of loss Jerry. Glad you are

feeling better, sad to hear about your Dad. Safe travels as you deal

with the loss and deal with holidays without him.

Jerry, I'm so sorry to hear about your father! I lost my dad a few

years ago and it was unexpected, even though he had cancer. He had

been doing well and we thought he was on his way to recovery. No

matter what the circumstances, it's always a shock when you lose

someone you love. You're in my prayers!

Hugs!

  • 1 month later...

Hi,

I will give you the good news first: I went and had my eyes examined yesterday

and my prescription has decreased!!! I am so excited. Not that they were that

bad before, but this is good, don't you think? I picked out some fabulous new

glasses, with polorized clip ons. I should have them on Monday. Now the not so

good news: My daughter has been having mysterious rashes throughtout her upper

body. (chest, stomoch, back, face). It comes and goes. She used to get allergic

reactions quite easily when she was younger, however this has been like this

since late December. I have been doing the elimination thing, but can't yet

figure it out. She has a doctor appointment (pediactric) in less than 2 weeks.

keep your fingers crossed it isn't anything worse than allergies please. Now the

other bad news; is I don't think this new " tweaking of my meds " is working. I

would like to ask if there is anyone here from southern-southwestern ontario who

has a wonderful doc who treats Stills? My RD has had

2 other Stills patients in his career, but I am thinking he is going to retire

soon. He told me to go through my GP and only if I really need to should I call

his office. (apparently he is going to be travelling abroad for several months)

I am willing to travel a few hours to see one. Thanks,

K
