Since autism is the cause du jour, he mentioned it in order to get that much more exposure. Since the prevailing mood is that autism is something that can be cured like a cold, he says he outgrew it, because that is what people want to hear. That means some other people might talk about him or even ask for interviews on how he did it, which means more free camera time. In the meantime, it would be nice to have a day go by without hearing some celebrity making ridiculous claims that provide fodder for misinformation and disinformation to circulate in society, endangering and harming those who deal with Autism every day all for the sake of garnering attention from the media in order to promote the latest commercial release!RavenNew year...new news.
