Guest guest
In a round about way I can see what you mean. Their posts are very sharp and abrupt. Whether they are trying to hurt us intentionally or not I have no idea. Yes the moderated should be able to put them on moderated status. Which means all of their posts have to go thru the mod and be approved before we see them. MISSY SAHM to some special kids!!! Excuse Me While I Go Raise Tomorrow's Future. Guest guest
Wait a minute here.. Im getting a little upset about some of the things that you guys are posting about this person. You dont know them and really dont even know if they are on the spectrum. If you dont like what they are posting then dont read it and dont respond!!! If they are on the spectrum then maybe we as parents should listen to what they are saying because they are living it and most of us arent. If they have been put on these drugs then we should really listen. WHY? Because most of us dont know what its like to be on most of these drugs and NONE of us know what the long term affects are as most of the drugs are not tested and are not approved by the FDA for use in children. Everyone has different opinions and in a way there are different reasons why people take medications, drugs whatever you want to call them. To say medication is not a drug??? What is that about. WHO cares if you call them meds or drugs.. Ritalin is more potent than cocaine and its being used on children without the long term effects known yet parents and physicians constantly give these children this drug. If this person has the view that drugs are not appropriate then that is their opinion. Its not wrong, its just not what some of you agree with. Guest guest
That is what I am trying to say!! If you read one of my emails you would see that none us, but the person, knows why they are here on the list. We don't know if the person themselves is on the spectrum or has a family member on the spectrum. We don't know if they have been burned by the medical profession, either. their emails tend to have a biting edge to them and that is what gets to the readers of the posts. Meds? Drugs? It's the same thing, it is just how this person presented it. I would love to know more about this person to be honest. A name would be a start. As you recall the first email I sent was if you don't want to read it then delete it. For some people they know as soon as they see who the sender is start getting upset. It's not worth it. Guest guest
Heheee, I got rattled about something in another club last week and things were very similar. It's exactly why I have that love/hate relationship with the internet. I luv to have everyone at my fingertips (smile) but keeping everything in context get's complicated sometimes. Guest guest
The first thing a person with nothing to say wants you to know is their name. The second thing they want you to know is that they have nothing to say and are proud of it. The third thing they want you to know is that they want to shut up everybody who isn't their personal cheerleader. Every drug (med, if you prefer) is a poison, so poisonous that the drug companies spent more dollars on advertising and marketing than on research and testing. The crap is legal (just like booze and cigarettes) because money grubbing profiteer pharmaceutical pushers buy and own Congressmen and because there is a forever-naive, know-nothing sucker born every minute. Guest guest
Moderated status means a censored list. You then only hear what the owner and sidekicks want you to read. It no longer is a list but a propaganda tool for three or four people preaching to all who join, without the victims even knowing they've been had. Welcome to big brotherville. Guest guest
If a researchers main goal is to be polite, we'd all still be living in caves. If Louis Pasteur had let the milkmaids run him out of town, your grandparents would have died of small pox before birthing your mom. There is a pre-delete button on your computer; feel free to pre-delete all messages I contribute -- before you melt. Missy, from Peggy Hi Missy,I just went back and read some of his posts.
