Guest guest
I was considering asking my daughter's physician about Paxil for her. How did it help your child with social anxiety, etc? Granted it sounds like you were experiencing some side effects. My daughter is very shy and just about refuses to speak around people she doesn't know. At home, she talks up a storm but then again, she is in her "comfort zone". My daughter is 9. Kathy Paxil? Have any of you had trouble with paxil? rages, teeth grinding or handflapping getting worse? Guest guest
My 14 yo daughter is like yours: extremely shy outside of home, very loud and talkative at home. We tried paxil for a short time last spring and it seemed it made her more aggressive verbally and physically. It could have been a combination of things at that time in her life (it was not a good time) but we won't be trying paxil again anytime soon. I have heard that it helps some, though. Guest guest
It helped me tremendously when I was on it but it seems to have made his anxiety type behaviors worse.
