Guest guest
According to the APA, in families that have a child psychopath or sociopath, the following parenting techniques must be instituted in the home: 1) Maintain domestic stability. 2) Reinforce and reward positive behaviour. 3) Establish firm moral integrity practices and standards in the home. 4) Seek medical help and the earlier the better. Any child can benefit from these basic guidelines. Where a child of 7 is deriving pleasure from personal involvement in criminal behaviour, these basic guidelines must be met without question. Of course, establishing and maintaining these basic guidelines demands that the parents and/or guardians of the child in question actually parent and mentor the child since these basic guidelines are the guidelines that attentive parents make use of, and adhere to, consistently.
