Workshop Description: This workshop provides an in-depth introduction to the

strategies for assessing and treating problem behaviors through a behavior

analytic approach. It is appropriate for families, therapists, teachers, other

professionals, and any one interested in learning more about how to reduce

problem behaviors and the influence they can have on social, self-care, and

academic success. The presentation will address methods for assessing the

function of problem behaviors, selecting the most appropriate treatment

strategies, and implementing those strategies in multiple environments. The

workshop will include both lecture and hands-on practice in implementing the

strategies discussed, as well as providing handouts and tools for applying the

techniques in a range of environments.

Presented by: This workshop is being presented by Beth Husband, M.S., BCBA. Ms.

Husband is the Center Director at Spectrum of Hope in Cypress, Texas. She is a

Board Certified Behavior Analyst and has a Masters degree in Behavior Analysis

and Therapy from Southern Illinois University. She has more than five years of

experience providing behavior analysis services to children and adults with

autism, developmental disabilities, and severe problem behaviors.

Individuals: $50 Students: $40 (with documentation) Married Couples:

$75 Groups of 5+ $35/person
