No sides so far. Kind of tired, but not bad. I'm just taking it easy.

I laid down the rules over the phone and in a letter before he came home. I laid them down again when he got here. And again before I went to bed. I sent the boy home as soon as I found him here. I will be telling him and his parents later today that he will be trespassing if he ever steps on my property again, and I will press charges. I slept a little, but checked to be sure Cale was here about 5 times during the night and was up at 7:30. I emailed his probation officer already and will call the program he is in on Monday. I couldn't load him up and return him to detention because I have to take him to this orientation tonight if I want him in the National Guard program till December. Otherwise, he's back here August 1. He will not be out of my sight today, no visitors and I intercepted a call from his girlfriend and told her to get an explanation from him. He will not come home again before he goes to NG & I doubt if I go back to visit before that.

So, what other consequences did you have in mind, honey?

Love,

De

I'm so sorry De you had a bad night and going through all this.

I know it's so tough on you now going through trmt a single Mom with 2 kids.

To be honest with you Honey I would not have let him disobey me. I would have laid down my rules before he arrived home to be followed to the T no excuses. The first time he would have disobeyed or been disrespectful he would have paid the consequences and been fully responsible for his actions. Just like he's being taught hopefully in the programs he is in.

He knows what he can get away with with Mom and so does his friends. They are playing you.

My kids had somewhat of a father growing up but I was the disciplinarian and I didn't take any shit from them.

If I was in your position I would have reported any misconduct of my own son to the proper people in the programs when he first disobeyed me. One set of rules and laws to be followed with no difference at home or don't live at home. What happens when he's finished and comes back home ???

It's tough being a tough Mom but It's tough love for all the right reason.

Love and Hugs.

Naw, I'm not going to worry. God will take care of her and the rest of them. He's been in charge of her trip from the beginning -- remember He made sure she had as much money as she needed in only a week, and she ended up with over twice what she was supposed to have. My best friend at work gave Beth $50 cash on Friday to help me out.

Love,
