Guess what Gang?

I got my blood work back from Pheonix today -- I AM CLEAR AT 11 WEEKS.....!!!! TOTALY UNDETECTABLE.....!!! IHAVEN'T BEEN THIS HAPPY IN SO LONG, I FEEL LIKE I JUST WON THE LOTTO.... LOL THIS MAKES GOING THROUGH THIS CHEMO AND ALL THE SIDES SO WORTH IT....!!!! I PRAISE THE GOOD LORD AND JESUS CHRIST MY SAVIOR.....

I JUST COULDN'T WAIT TO GET ON LINE AND TELL YOU ALL. SO DENISE, HANG TOUGH GIRL, YOU ARE GOING TO GET THERE. MY DOC SAID, OF COURSE, I STILL HAVE TO DO THE 48 WEEKS, BUT IT IS SO MUCH MORE WORTH IT NOW...

THANK YOU SO MUCH GANG FOR STICKING BESIDE ME, AND GETTIN ME THROUGH THIS AWFUL TIME -- I STILL NEED YOU AND AND ALWAYS WILL -- NO MATTER WHAT THE END RESULT....

AND THOSE ARE MUGS OF WATER GANG OR SPARKLING PUNCH..

Thanks so much... I feel like I am still walking on cloud 9... lol

I am geno type 1b, and I am stage 1 fibrosis, and grade 1 inflamation.... I know that I hadn't had it but only a few years when I found out -- so that may have helped me a little -- this I don't know for sure or not. I just know that I am ever so happy... It is so worth the treatment and all the sides... Would I do it again???? IN A HEART BEAT.....!!!!

Good luck to you -- if I remember right -- aren't you trying to decide rather to do it or not??? I can't remember as the brain fog does get to me sometimes....

Dear Jo,

I must tell you that it has been so worth it, and even before I found out that I was clear, I can still tell you that I would do it again in a heart beat... We have to remember that no matter what the outcome is -- WE ARE STILL DOING OUR LIVERS A WORLD OF GOOD AND SLOWING THE VIRUS DOWN... AND I ALSO WANT TO SAY THAT STUDIES ARE SAYING NOW; THE SOONER YOU FIND OUT, THE MORE AGGRESSIVE THEY WANT TO TREAT BECAUSE IT IS EASIER TO CLEAR.

I had only had my hep- c for 3 years or less, and even though I am geno type 1b, which is suppose to be the hardest to clear, I still have done it... Now it's just keeping it clear. And God forbid, but if I were to get it back --I WOULD DO IT ALL AGAIN, TREATMENT, THE SIDES, EVERYTHING.... I believe in this medicine and believe in the docs. I also know that they are saying that even with the new meds that are coming out, it will still have to be used in combination with the interferon (pegasys shot) However, th e copegus pills are hard on our bodies -- but are so worth the pain and effort.

If we don nothing -- then we get nothing in return, only a disease that will enevidibly get worse...

I know that it is such a personal choice between you and your Doc's, but you really should read up on all the studies -- the sooner you hit the virus, the better for responding. Otherwise you are letting the virus just replicate it'self all the time... And it replicates very quickly -- one reason why it is so hard to beat...

Just some things to think about... But from the bottom of my soul -- it's not that bad and it is worth it... Allot of it is a frame of mind...

I wondered where you were and when you were going to see that I had cleared... I am so sorry that you have had a rough go of it lately -- hang tough Girl, because we both know that it will be worth it in the end. This is one fight that we can not give up on. Look at all the times in the first few months that I wanted to hang up the towel, and Glory be to God and my friends -- that I didn't and stuck with it.

I know that this battle is not over by no means, but at least I am heading in the right direction. I honestly never thought I would be clear yet, I thought I was responding, but not clear... So this was a major surprise for me....

You can do the same too -- we just have to keep our faith and know that we are doing the right thing, and don't let anything or anyone get in our way of getting our health back -- remember gang our health is rightfully OURS..... and we all deserve it back...

Hang tough Girl. and know that you can call anytime and I will call you right back as I have long distance that is free... I just don't know when to ever call you, when is convenient...?
