Ugh, I have had a bad day with my hip again, and my right hand. it was doing

good for a couple of weeks, then it starts it's usual hurting that lasts for

days, the darvocet doesnt really work when it's like this, my rd gave me some

vicoden to take, well without the tylenol, about 2 hours after the darvocet if

the pain wasn't better but that isn't really working. Im thinking about asking

for some mepergan fortis, but I hate taking that stuff so much. I was supposed

to go to NC today for the weekend, but I knew I couldnt make the 6 hour drive.

I had planned to go see the exhibit of the Dead Sea Scrolls while I was there,

it was only going to be there for a few weeks but they have had so many people

turn out to see it they have extended the exhibit until April 10th so I felt

better about not going when I heard that. It's not too many cities in the US

that are having the exhibit. Nowhere really close to me. My parents wanted to

go too. But they dont really grasp things like that. I mean all they know about

them is that they are very old. I love history and lately I've been studying

alot of biblical history. It's just frustrating with my mom and dad because

they are not intellectuals so it's hard to have really interesting discussions

with them. I really miss my hubby because he likes to discuss things like I do.

My mom only wants to learn about new recipes to cook or to make some kind of

heart shaped craft thingy. We are so opposite, they dont listen to music except

for country which I like country too, but I listen to everything, they dont

watch movies, they dont read books, at least they watch the news and we can talk

about that and politics and such. I just love to learn. I love to read and I

watch mostly shows on discovery channel and such. I do watch the new show Lost

though but again it's such an in depth show that I love all the clues and

references to things, I notice quotes, or things they refer too. my mom watches

it too but she misses so much because she doesnt catch all the little things in

the background. well back to reading.
