Guest guest
FYI-I just wanted to let everyone know that I received three Talk Tools kits via UPS today paid for by Early Intervention!! I posted earlier that we had submitted the paperwork to get them, but I didn't know for sure whether or not they would go through. I asked Tristen's speech therapist to write oral motor goals that would support the need for him to have the kits at home. She said she had never done that for Talk Tools kits, but would try it. At our IFSP meeting, she submitted the new goals and listed three Talk Tools kits as necessary equipment to be ordered (Bite Block Jaw Grading-Red Talk Tools, Jaw Exerciser Kit, & Parent Kit- Using Oral Motor Therapy With Your Child). It took about 4 months from the IFSP to the date I received them. Tristen is 2 years 6 months old. Christy
Guest guest
How cool! I tried repeatedly to get any of that paid for here in County (Houston) to no avail. My son is Tristan. :)Shari FYI-I just wanted to let everyone know that I received three Talk Tools kits via UPS today paid for by Early Intervention!! Guest guest
That is awesome! We cannot get Babies Can't Wait EIS to do anything at all in this county I live in; I stopped fighting the worthless battle because even the attorney could not do anything because they shafted him on the original IFSP and listed developmental delay, even though he qualified on a diagnosis of apraxia. > > > FYI-I just wanted to let everyone know that I received three Talk Tools > kits via UPS today paid for by Early Intervention!!
