Guest guest
I rented the Vitaris 320 from a local chiropractor. A friend of mine met him at an Autism fundraiser walk. I rented the chamber for 2,000 for the month. Expensive, but afte 17 dives we notice subtle changes in listening ability. He is 12 with a brain injury suffered at birth. You might want to try chiropractors. LaurieGet a sneak peek of the all-new AOL.com.
Guest guest
I watched it and I do believe it can work. How is it suppose to affect children with autism? Can the parents go in also? I don't know how if the children need to be strapped down or lay still but I can guarantee that won't happen with my child, he panics and will struggle and fight so is it something he can be given sedatives for?Stan Kurtz wrote: This video shows some amazing and relatively instant improvements in inflammation through Hyperbaric Oxygen therapy. Guest guest
Hi , No, it's not invasive like that at all. It's like a tent that you both go into. You watch videos and hang out. I have some footage of my son from a couple weeks ago. He is eating (swallowing to clear his ears) as the chamber pressurizes and then he watched a movie while his mom rested. Hyperbarics is lovely. Anytime I am tired and/or my sholders or neck aches I go in there and come out like a new person. www.childrenscornerschool.com/video/ethanchamber2.wmv - Stan This video shows some amazing and relatively instant improvements in inflammation through > Hyperbaric Oxygen therapy. > > Just another example of how a trial can help you find answers that science has not yet > proven. > > PC Version > > http://www.childrenscornerschool.com/video/ileanehbot.wmv > > Apple Quicktime Version > > http://www.childrenscornerschool.com/video/ileanehbot2.mov > > Let us know what you think of this... > > - Stan > > > > > > > > --------------------------------- > Yahoo! oneSearch: Finally, mobile search that gives answers, not web links. >

Guest guest
Great video, my son might think it is fun especially if he can watch the train. LOL. How long are you in there? I will bet it is expensive but I have some friends on the dive team down here for the coast guard maybe I could talk to them. I know they have used the chamber but I think they have to go to Seattle because it is the closed one which is 3 hours from me. How would I go about trying it? Is it supposed to take swelling out of the brain or something, making them more verbal? Stan Kurtz wrote: Hi , No, it's not invasive like that at all. It's like a tent that you both go into. We have done almost 40 hrs and I think I'm seeing some small changes. Stan Kurtz wrote: Hi ,No, it's not invasive like that at all. It's like a tent that you both go into. Guest guest
Stan, I can absolutely relate to this lady on the video as I fractured a bone on my foot recently and HBOT was amazing for me. I have been going into the hard chamber with my son to supervise him during his HBOT sessions and as a result received some of the benefit when I fractured a bone on my foot at the end of July. Now I did not get to wear a mask like my son, but they told me I would get 24% oxygen (don't really know what that meant, but I am not the most scientifically inclined). I had been to 2 sessions beforethe accident that fractured my foot (the day before and the day of the fracure) and then skipped the day after as I sent my husband, but started going back into the chamber the very next day. I did not know that I had a fracture until several days later because the swelling was so minor and I never bruised up. I only went to the doctor to make sure that things were OK and sure enough it turned out that I did indeed fracture a bone and was told to see an orthopedist immediately. Recently, on my 3 week follow up visit with the orthopedist he gave me the OK to take the boot off and just cycle it in with regular shoes. He told me on the initial visit that it would take 6 to 8 weeks to heal, but I am able to wear regular shoes and walk normally with no pain right now. HBOT is pretty amazing. And it has been an awesome thing for my son as we've noticed big gains in eye contact, social cueing, language processing time, socialization, vocabulary, etc. > >Reply-To: mb12 valtrex >To: mb12 valtrex >Subject: New Video - Inflammation and Hyperbaric Oxygen >Date: Mon, 27 Aug 2007 22:23:56 -0000 > >This video shows some amazing and relatively instant improvements in >inflammation through >Hyperbaric Oxygen therapy. > >Just another example of how a trial can help you find answers that science >has not yet >proven. > >PC Version > >http://www.childrenscornerschool.com/video/ileanehbot.wmv > >Apple Quicktime Version > >http://www.childrenscornerschool.com/video/ileanehbot2.mov > >Let us know what you think of this... > >- Stan > > _________________________________________________________________ Now you can see trouble…before he arrives http://newlivehotmail.com/?ocid=TXT_TAGHM_migration_HM_viral_protection_0507
Guest guest
We only recently tried it so it was after his recovery but saw gains in speech and physical strength balance and control after the first few sessions. It isn't a magic bullet but it certainly helps for a good amount of kids (not all but many) and with it being so benign I believe it should be on the list of things to try. - Stan This video shows some amazing > and relatively instant improvements in inflammation through > > Hyperbaric Oxygen therapy. > > > > Just another example of how a trial can help you find answers that science has not yet > > proven. > > > > PC Version > > > > http://www.childrenscornerschool.com/video/ileanehbot.wmv > > > > Apple Quicktime Version > > > > http://www.childrenscornerschool.com/video/ileanehbot2.mov > > > > Let us know what you think of this... > > > > - Stan > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > --------------------------------- > > Yahoo! oneSearch: Finally, mobile search that gives answers, not web links. > > > > > > > > > --------------------------------- > Sick sense of humor? Guest guest
The effects are throughout the entire body. I strongly believe in doing anti-infectious therapy before you do HBOT because I believe much of the inflammation has to do with infections. That said, it's a lovely therapy. If you are in the Van Nuys California area you are welcome to come use the one at my school. > > > > > > > > > --------------------------------- > Moody friends. Guest guest
, We shoot for 2 hour dives. Sometimes we only do 1-1 1/2 hrs. It depends. My son doesn't go to sleep that early and my husband (the hbot) operator has to be up early to catch the train, so we do what we can. We are on an hbot "break" at the moment because we looked ahead at the next month and realized we were not going to be able to be consistent, which for us is 5 out of 7 nights a week. Guest guest
Thanks, Stan- a very generous offer. I wish we lived in CA instead of VT! We are in the process of trying to get our insurance to cover HBOT for our son, as our DAN doc thinks it will benefit him since his cellular inflammation is very high. He received not one but two MMR's only 3 months apart (don't know why- I believed in doing everything my ped said then) before regressing into autism at age 18mos. When we did a lab test for the titer's- the lab will no longer give the levels for liability concerns but only advise if one has immunity. By the way- Stan have you tried the Fire Tree tea yet? I was debating giving it a go for my son. We did 4 mos on Valtrex and are doing 3 MB12 shots weekly, and have been GFCF since age 3...along with a slew of other supps. Guest guest
I don't quite understand what you mean. Both hard and soft users say there are gains... so does that mean you shouldn't try it? You can get sessions as low as 75 dollars depending on your area or rent it for a month and see what you get. I do believe it's worth a trial. I think the video is at least enough to make you think about it for autism or other inflammatory conditions. - Stan This video shows some amazing > > > and relatively instant improvements in inflammation through > > > > Hyperbaric Oxygen therapy. > > > > > > > > Just another example of how a trial can help you find answers > that science has not yet > > > > proven. > > > > > > > > PC Version > > > > > > > > http://www.childrenscornerschool.com/video/ileanehbot.wmv > > > > > > > > Apple Quicktime Version > > > > > > > > http://www.childrenscornerschool.com/video/ileanehbot2.mov > > > > > > > > Let us know what you think of this... > > > > > > > > - Stan > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > --------------------------------- > > > > Yahoo! oneSearch: Finally, mobile search that gives answers, > not web links. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > --------------------------------- > > > Sick sense of humor? Guest guest
Stan, We have had our 320 about a year now, and my son is on his third set of 40 dives, and yes it is no magic bullet for my son , but does help. My son loves being in the chamber, and actually request to go in and we find him in there by himself sometimes ( not running of course). although we have a chamber ourselves, we have found people offering in our area for as low as $60 a session ( about 1:10 in time). I strongly agree that people should at least give it a trail of 40 sessions. Its great for when I am feeling tired or worn out. Just my 2 cents This video shows some amazing > > > > and relatively instant improvements in inflammation through > > > > > Hyperbaric Oxygen therapy. > > > > > > > > > > Just another example of how a trial can help you find answers > > that science has not yet > > > > > proven. > > > > > > > > > > PC Version > > > > > > > > > > http://www.childrenscornerschool.com/video/ileanehbot.wmv > > > > > > > > > > Apple Quicktime Version > > > > > > > > > > http://www.childrenscornerschool.com/video/ileanehbot2.mov > > > > > > > > > > Let us know what you think of this... > > > > > > > > > > - Stan > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > --------------------------------- > > > > > Yahoo! oneSearch: Finally, mobile search that gives answers, > > not web links. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > --------------------------------- > > > > Sick sense of humor? Guest guest
Hi , No, no evidence but there's very little evidence on any of this. Mostly I have gathered from people whose child didn't do well on HBOT or regressed and some have surmised that this is what happens although noone knows for sure. For me, too much is unknown and the reports I have heard about more than a few kids developing seizures where none were evident before is enough to give me pause. There is nothing completely safe but this seems like the luck of the draw, to me. Btw there have been kids whose seizures have stopped with HBOT, so nothing is clear.
