What he should say is things are tough for everyone and rather than make a new program especially for family's with autistics as part of the never ending bailout, he will do what is right and fix the economy so those families can get jobs and incomes again. Some other things he could do, but from what I have seen, none of the politicians have done it right yet.

Let me also add that I agree with this statement: he should admit he knows nothing about autism and will keep his mouth shut until he is presented with more well-rounded information than what he currently has, courtesy of Autism Speaks.
