Agreed. Nothing is more irksome than having constant interruptions while you are trying to get things done, particularly idle chit chat.

If you want to talk to her, you could try asking early on to meet her during break time. If she says no, drop it and leave her alone. Don't bring it up every day either, that would be annoying and could count as harassment. I can understand wanting to talk, but it might not work out that way for a while, if ever.
