Guest guest
While I think your suggestions for lowering lipids without statins are valid, I think it's pretty sweeping to suggest just dumping them. Many, but not all people will be helped by your suggestions. As for " symptomatic improvement, " exactly what symptoms does a " malignant tryglyceride problem " create? Treatment of elevated blood lipids is best with a multipronged attack, including diet, excercise, possibly supplements, and possibly statins. I would not reject any arm of this group. Statins to have proven health benefits, and are essential for many.
