The guys who were jocks in school or the ones who might have been a bit of a geek? For most of us our hubbies had been at least a bit of a geek :-)RubyI'm a geek in training since my husband is one and has been working on properly "educating" me over our 9 years of marriage. Guest guest
I don't think I've ever seen blue collar comedy, but I've heard that saying - probably came from there, though. I've heard it a lot. Another reason I knew she wasn't being rude to is because she replied to 's post. I think it was , anyway - whoever said she was so smart. I didn't connect the Pi thing in any way to being a private investigator, but then I have a geek son, so I already knew about Pi Day. :)Shari Have you ever seen blue collar comedy? That's one of their sayings when they think that something is so funny everyone will think it's funny. They say " now that's funny, I don't care who ya are " . It wasn't a reference to ANYONE. [DownSyndromeInfoExchange] Re: Fwd: NDSC poster contest (It just sounded rude, and all I was trying to do was help and provide the contact link for google that she said she did not know.) Guest guest
I agree! The geeks are the ones who make great husbands and dads! Not to say that no jock can be, but generally the geeky guys are a little better rounded and more in touch with their feelings and with what they truly want in life. Can you tell I love my geek? Guest guest
The kids have YouTubed. The Vader dances too. Check them out. What's really funny is Chad Vader on you tube. Hilarious !!!! Its the story of Vader as a stock boy (a whole series) after the Death Star blows up. Great funny stuff! I watch the Storm Trooper video at least 2x's a day.....I saw Star Wars when I was 5yrs (opening day) at the drive in w/ my parents. First time I saw a storm trooper it scared me so bad I hid behind the drivers seat. Now, I have this little secret fantasy that Colbert (I think he is so ....) is in the Storm Trooper uniform. No Brad Pitts for me! Husband is 6'4", super handsome but a total Geeky gamer. Big Time !!! I totally lucked out ! He was in Military Intelligence during the cold war. Guest guest
I guess I am just a more sensitive person and very conscientious of making any comment that uses the line *I do not care who you are*. I really do not wish to discuss it anymore because it is waste of time to spend so much negative energy. I said my peace and I just questioned what was meant by it. Although I never got an answer of what that was referencing if it was not me helping her get the conatct info for google, it really does not matter anymore. Like I said, I am cautious of saying things that could come out derogatory. No offense taken then. > > > > > > > Have you ever seen blue collar comedy? Guest guest
Yes, you have gotten an answer - at least from me. I don't feel like finding the original right now, but I'm almost positive her reply was to . If you find the " offending " post, look what's beneath it. I bet it's 's post saying how smart she () is. Example, your post is beneath my answer here. I guess I am just a more sensitive person and very conscientious of making any comment that uses the line *I do not care who you are*.
