Re: Chicago fed up with Obama

This is the main issue. The unions have put so many demands on Ford and the other Big 3 that any profit they make is amazing, and is why they are teetering on collapse. Factory work is necessary and is the underpinning of our society, just most people don't realize this. They are very well paid and very well compensated at Ford, so saving up should have been no problem. Then again, they let the union handle the retirement funds and now those are largely gone.

The Obamercial also had a woman who lived in a very nice house and said they couldn't keep up with the payments. Maybe that's because her husbands retreaded tires for a living and that naturally couldn't afford the house they were in? A lot of people from all economic classes got suckered that way, into buying more than they could afford since the Fed, Freddie and Fannie were just throwing money around like it was water. They had to know what was going to happen and I'm convinced that this was all deliberate, to tank the economy and bring about a leftwing dictatorship in the US. Depending on how the election goes, we'll find out very shortly.

But Obama's behavior toward Chicago is very telling. He already thinks he IS the law, not merely above it, and has openly said he holds the Constitution in contempt because it dares to limit government (his) power. Personally, I'm betting that the party ends badly, whether than be celebratory riots or the more likely nation wide riots if McCain wins or even takes the lead for a while.

There is also this article:

"If Barack Obama is elected into office as the 44th president of the United States on Nov. 4 and voters, in tandem, give the Democrats 60 seats in the Senate and give them a solid majority in the House. What happens after Inauguration Day?

Single-party rule is inherently totalitarian whether the people consent to it or not. In most cases, one-party states rise out of authoritarian regimes, including former monarchies, or socialist revolutions. There are currently seven - China, Cuba, Eritrea, Laos, Vietnam, Syria, Korea. The United States would become the eighth.

Single-party rule is something to fear in and of itself - particularly from a spending standpoint, regardless of which party has absolute power. From 2003 to 2005, W. Bush and the Republican Congress created the largest expansion of Medicare in history the prescription-drug bill and started two wars. They also succeeded in creating the largest tax cut in history. One who is too lazy to elevate oneself out of the mire of factory line work and too quick to ask for government benefits because they couldn't squirrel away money to get through lean times on a job paying $25.00 an hour and better benefits than most people get on their own jobs.
