Guest guest
This is completely off the subject of autism, but I need your prayers. Tomorrow, my husband is having surgery at 8AM in Houston. They have discovered a growth on his thyroid and they have tried biopsy but wasn't able to obtain the information needed. They are going to operate to see whether it is cancer or not. Please pray for good news. We have to be there tomorrow morning at 6AM to check in. I haven't been able to find anyone to watch (23)for me so I guess he is going too. We are leaving around 4:30AM to get there in time. will not be happy about that. He is used to sleeping in late since he is no longer in school. I hope that he won't be difficult because I will have a lot on my mind. Also, yesterday, I received a phone call from my son (19), who is in the Navy in Great Lakes, IL. Last week, he finished his training and was to go Pensacola, FL on May 14. Well, I knew that he had been having physical problems about two months ago. They did tests on him and it is his heart. They diagnosed him with Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome. His captain told him yesterday, that they would have to medically discharge him. He was devastated. He was wanting to finish his avionic career in Pensacola so he could be stationed in Italy, and travel. I wasn't home when he called so my husband talked to him and tried to cheer him up. I'm glad that I wasn't home to get that call. I would have cried my eyes out. He should be home by the end of the month and we then take him to the VA Hospital for treatment. When it rains, it pours. Thank you for letting talk.
