WOW! Thank you for sending this in. My son is currently on Captopril for his

heart. I will take this article to his Dr. for sure! Scarry!!

I just want to give the person who sent in the original post on Captopril a

heartfelt " THANK YOU " . We called our cardiologist and he ordered another CBC.

's WBC dropped 30% in 12 weeks. The doctor has taken him off Captopril

and put him on another cardiac med. Hopefully, we caught this soon enough and

his counts will go back up. We retest his CBC in 4 weeks.

good! glad that it helped. a mom on anther listserv said that her son had a problem with Captopril, and his counts returned to normal after he was taken off of it.KathyR
