Frozen Hot Chocolate  Serendipity

Frozen Hot Chocolate

3 ounces your favorite chocolate

2 teaspoons hot cocoa mix (I love â?Ts Milk Chocolate)

1 1/2 tablespoons sugar

1 1/2 cups milk

3 cups ice

Whipped cream

Chocolate shavings

Use a sharp knife to chop the chocolate into very small pieces. Place it in

the top of a double boiler over simmering water. Stir until melted. Add the

hot chocolate mix and sugar. Stir until totally incorporated and melted.

Remove the chocolate mixture from the heat. Whisk in 1/2 cup of milk until

smooth. Cool completely.

Place the remaining cup of milk, cooled chocolate mixture and the ice in a

blender. Blend on high speed until smooth. Top with whipped cream and shaved

chocolate, if desired.
