Guest guest
Hello , We've had an upbeat day today with Kieran (first in a while) so had the get up and go to logon and check our email. We are very disturbed to hear Cody's news but are sure all will come good in time. Whilst we are not religious, our hearts and thoughts are with Cody and all the family. Love and best wishes. Godspeed, and Mike My sister came home tonight & told us the results of her CAT scan, she's got a brain tumor. I'd appreciate everyone that would say a prayer for her. They are going to watch it for a while before they make a decision on what to do. Guest guest
Dear , I'm so sorry to hear about your sister. You and your family have been so kind to all of us on this list. If there is any such thing as karma or fairness, your sister should do great. Sometimes, though, it seems like life just keeps throwing challenges at us. I'm not one for religion, but I will be thinking of you and your family. I hope this turns out to be benign and resolvable. Guest guest
Alma, do you mind if I send this request to some of my friends who live around the country?Shari  Hello, My daughter Alyssa a doing a traveling journal project in her 1st grade class. Part of this project is to have friends and family members send post cards to her school from all over the United States and the world. Problem is... ( not really a problem I feel blessed) that all our family is here with us. We have a few distant relatives in Texas only. Well, Alyssa's aide told me yesterday that Alyssa hasn't received any postcards and every time the class gets one. Alyssa looks at her aide and asks if that one is for her? Broke both her aide and my hearts :  Alyssa is fully included in 1st grade and is doing awesome. If you have a minute and can help us out we would truly appreciate it. : )  Just send a post card with a quick note saying hi to Alyssa and tidbits about where you live.  Alyssa c/o Richmond Street School 615 Richmond StreetEl Segundo, CA 90245  THANKS!! Alma   I would be livid if they allowed my child to do that. Why did the aid or teacher stop and take the time to put her shoes on? That is just odd.~> > > > Thanks , > > > > I was thinking today that all this sickness started when my daughter's teacher allowed her to walk barefooted across the parking lot into school barefooted and the temps were 0-10 degrees on the 3 days this happened. My girls have never been this sick before and it sure makes me wonder if that was the cause of it. > > > > Today I am happy to announce that Jez is eating !! Not much but it's a start. I weighed her today and she is 35 lbs so will work on getting her to gain some weight. > > > > > > > > Re: [DownSyndromeInfoExchange] Sammy's new experiance > > > > > > > > > > > > Yes hope everyone gets well soon. I've had to deal with the flu, scarlett fever, rash, ear infections, temps up to 105, pneumonia, sinus infection, chronic coughing, hands/feet turning blue due to low oxygen. All this since Christmas and this is just my 2 girls!! I thank God that I haven't gotten that sick ! > > > > > > > > > >> -- " Be kinder than necessary for  everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle "
