Guest guest
I think some healthy lifestyle books may have been discussed before, but I wanted to ask if anyone has read the following specific books and if so,. your thoughts: The Kind Diet by Silverstone; Crazy, Sexy Diet by Kris Karr; _ You Are What You Eat by Dr. Gillian Mc; Veganist by Kathy Freston; Or any other similar type books (current, or older, but still relevant)? I bought Crazy, Sexy Diet and also You Are What You Eat since I was quite impressed by both book and I rarely buy books - only those that I feel are significant in content and that I will refer to regularly. Currently have Veganist waiting for me at the library, by request. Thanks in advance! Thea, a big-time bibliophile, especially of books that help me improve my life!! Guest guest
I buy a lot of books, but they are mostly tomes on horticulture- I have a few vegan books and many raw food and a few sprout and microgreens books. Most raw food books now include sections on sprouting. I do have the Joy of Vegan Baking and recommend any of the author''s (colleen -Goudeau) books. her book The Vegan Table is great. A patient showed me Carr's book and I think it is really good. Silverstone's book has made quite a splash and from the excerpts I have read, it seems well done. Robin on is another great vegan cookbook author. Her book on vegetarian slow cookers is outstanding. I originally borrowed the library copy and ended up buying it on amazon. n Dr. Rollings NJ Licensed Psychologist #4686 www.DrnRollings.com Sent from my iPad > I think some healthy lifestyle books may have been discussed before, but I wanted to ask if anyone has read the following specific books and if so,. your thoughts: > > The Kind Diet by Silverstone; > > Crazy, Sexy Diet by Kris Karr; _ > > You Are What You Eat by Dr. Gillian Mc; > > Veganist by Kathy Freston; > > Or any other similar type books (current, or older, but still relevant)? > > I bought Crazy, Sexy Diet and also You Are What You Eat since I was quite impressed by both book and I rarely buy books - only those that I feel are significant in content and that I will refer to regularly. Guest guest
Thanks, n. Appreciate your input, as always. Will look into some of the other ones you mentioned (when I can squeak out the time in my life, LOL!). Since I'm a big slowcooker fan, the one by on is especially intriguing. Will need to see if my library has any of these titles, as I like to preview first! T. Guest guest
Definitely check your library, but also look on amazon because I think all three of the books I mentioned have the " look inside " feature. n Dr. Rollings NJ Licensed Psychologist #4686 www.DrnRollings.com Sent from my iPad > Thanks, n.
