Well, along those same lines . . . . .I called Sen. Shapiro's office

expressing concern that qualified professionals be selected for the Autism

Rule Study Group. The Education Aide's response was, " Well, TEA doesn't

have an opinion one way or the other on the autism supplement. There are

some school districts who would like to see it removed, but TEA is neutral. "

Anyone out there have an opinion about this?

I can believe the schools want the supplement gone & bet TEA does too.

Without it, they would have a lot less complaints and due processes to

deal with.

Hmmmmm, I believe the autism supplement is going to be a HUGE ISSUE

and we ALL need to be prepared to band together WHEN it becomes an

issue...

" Officially " for the record, they might not have an opinion, but

" unofficially " it may be a different story ... never put something in

writing that can be litigated!
