Pneumonia can be extremely dangerous. It almost killed me as I went into septic shock, etc. I ended up getting a pneumonia vaccine the following year and knock on wood, haven't had another bout of it. Last Wed night I literally thought I was going to die! i was so short of breath, huge thunderstorms happening, anxiety attacks from not being able to breathe. Knew I had a raging infection in my body, but not that bad! Finally call 911 around 8:00am. Feeling better, (knees hurt) and breathing is very good!!!
