Welcome Vicki,

It is hard to find the right doctors. I have been thru dozens and many specialists also, I also saw ID and was tested for it all. Many of them just can't seem to handle people that do not have blaring whacko blood tests. I find it interesting when a rheumy has a hard time with the unknown, when so many of the diseases in that field are so tricky and notorious for being hard to diagnose. I had one doctor take me off all the drugs that were helping me last year and told me I just had tendonitis. I was furious and so beat down at that point that I started to believe maybe it was in my head. That is when I asked to be tested. I have since found out that that same doctor has done the same thing to several other patients. It is very frustrating. I refuse to sit back and take it anymore. Anyway, welcome to the best group in the world. The folks here have kept me from doing really stupid things along the way, and now I can say that even with all the pain, most days I am grateful for my disease as it has brought so many wonderful people into my life and forced me to see what is really important in life.

Hi Lynn,

I'm not sure if it is due to my studying. It could be, but I haven't pushed

any harder this semester than the others and I've been okay. I'm sure it

hasn't been helping my physical being though. I have a few more rough weeks and

then spring break. I'll rest during that week off and do absolutely nothing.

My overall impression is that this is going on primarily due to stress. It

seems that when I get stressed out, the dragon blows smoke. LOL. I think that

once everything is behind me, my SD will settle down again. It always does. It

just bites right now because it is more of an aggravation than anything.

Thank you for asking.

Much love,

Terry

My major is Health Information Management. This semester I am taking 16

credits. I will complete my certification for Medical Transcription by the end

of

the semester and then will keep going for my degree in HIM.

Right now I am taking English Literature, Intermediate Algebra, Psychology,

Introduction to Health Care, and Medical Transcription II. I stay pretty busy,

but I am enjoying it. I fell behind a bit because of the ruckus with my soon

to be ex. If all goes well, I should be caught up by the end of next week.

That's what I am shooting for. It's just a lot of work, but I can do it. I

love my laptop! It has been my lifesaver for sure. Take it to bed with me and I

can still study and do my work. LOL. TTYL.

Much love,

Terry

You go girl!! I was worried just about the stress of studying etc. with

life. I know when I was in college it seemed like constant stress as an

adult. I have found any stress good or bad, physical or emotional pushes me

right into a flare.

What are you studying??

it sooner.

Subject: RE: Crazy CFS & FM Story

Hi Lynn:

You sound a bit better now then the last time- which was back when you were

going deeper into the relapse I think before I moved. I hope you're on your

way back out of it soon! If you're anything like me, I have a good hour here

and there and folks who catch me at those times think I'm recovering but don't

see me back in bed later! You have had a tough winter where you're at (don't

they seem to get tougher every year?)

The dampness gets to me more then the single digit cold spells. As much as I

am looking forward towards spring and summer- I am also very scared

because last year was so difficult for me. I have been able to walk short

distances without much problem this winter. Granted, the pain is there but at

least my legs move and hold me up!!!

I remember you posting about your mom and your family. I hope someday

your sister understands. I know my mom & sister wouldn't survive what we go

through.

I hope you have a restful weekend!

Love & Light,

Wanda
