I went into the hospital as an overnight stay as I had been scheduled for wisdom teeth extraction ... all four plus one molar, in total 5 teeth and with my medical history and all they thought it was best to do the procedure in hospital as well as 24 monitoring. I must say that surgery was a success and I had no infections and no bruising. I guess I was one of the lucky ones as I would have hated to have any type of infection. It took a very long time for my gums to heal . I had gotten a dry socket. It took 3-4 months before the two hole would close. had Jra all my life......
