Danny finally had a good day at school - what a relief. But now he is scared to

death about his Scoutmaster Conference and his Board of Review. He is trying to

advance to the rank of Tenderfoot on Monday.

Only one person on the board of review knows that he has Autism so we are a bit

concerned as to how he is going to do.

He will fly through the Scoutmaster conference, he knows his stuff just

sometimes can't get it out when he gets nervous, then he cries, then he hits his

head and then all is lost.

(dh) is going to talk to the Board before he goes in there and I am going

to be in there for emotional support and to kinda help him if he gets stuck

which I don't think will happen. We are bringing in a person who helps us

occassionally with Boards of Review and she knows him and he her so that should

help as well. I can't give him the answers but having me in the room might just

calm him down enough to get through it. It is the toughest thing he has every

done.

If they don't pass him Mama bear is going to whack all the backs of their

heads!!!!
