Guest guest
Well he wanted to do an intervenious of Iron which I didn't even know they could do. LOL So he just said to keep taking the folic acid and in a month if it's not up then he will do the intervenous of Iron. Does anyone know about this? Is there anyway to look this up? I am real bad at looking up things. I should go take a course at how to look up things on the Internet. LOL He's worried that since I don't have any Iron cells I am not getting enough oxygen to the brain. This may be the problem with looking things up!!! Guest guest
Ginger, one time at my onset my iron levels were that low that when I was in the hospital they infused iron through an IV. It had to be monitored so I don't know if your doctor can do in the office or not. Often times low levels of iron are a side effect of Stills. Hope this helps, Melt ----- Original Message ----- From: Ginger Sunshine Well he wanted to do an intervenious of Iron which I didn't even know they could do. . Does anyone know about this? Guest guest
Ginger, one of the more common side effects to IVIG Iron is severe joint pain and stomach problems. Read up on this as much as you can as it can be hard on your organs. do they know what is causing the low iron count, did they tell you your hemoglobin levels?
