Guest guest
Hello l.jenner, Actually about a year and half ago friend of a friend told me about an online life insurance broker called www.SpecialtyLife.com and they found me a very decent policy that wasn't one of those 5K or 10K types you get through the mail that's guaranteed to be given to anyone who wants one. Mine actually has a 250K benefit. It wasn't cheap but at least I'm covered. As I recall these guys actually specialize in life insurance just for people with medical problems. The guy who referred me actually had/has multiple problems including diabetes as well as with his prostate. The agent's name was Blaine or Blair or something like that. Pretty helpful. Good luck, Norm Stuart >> Has anybody been able to get life insurance, or at least some at a > somewhat affordable price? Guest guest
I had no problem getting life insurance b/c CMT is not considered to impact mortality.
Guest guest
Don't know a lot about it, but have you searched Globe Life? Just a suggestion. Teri
Guest guest
Hello, Yes, I was able to get a $100,000 policy through my credit union at 42 male, non smoker the rates are about $66.00 quarterly, with increases based on age, I believe it is every 5 years. State Farm wanted to double the premium due to CMT. CUNA Mutual is the standard rate and they know about my CMT. The policy will get very expensive at the end, but that is the nature of this type of policy. They expect you to cancel it and loose all the money that was paid in premiums. The types of policy differ, so you need to research them. Good Luck

Guest guest
Hey, thanks for your suggestion Norm. I checked out that website, and it does look promising at least from what their website says. I just emailed them my info, so will cross my fingers. Thanks again for the info.
