Guest guest
they went up after 2 months on lipitor. the internal med doc wanted me to take a different statin and i haven't because of the findings about statins and CMT. Now, working under the assumption that I have CMT, (this is part of the problem) I am waiting on my appointment with the new cardiac DR to see what they want to do. I know that 550 is dangerously high and my father had his first heart attack at 33. my family's medical history is unbelievable!!! Also does anyone else have to use a bipap during the day as well as the night? I have had to. It helps and forces my lungs to take more air than they would if i just breathed normally. It is still very difficult and painful to breathe. thanks again everyone for all of the inspiration. I read the posts but don't always respond!!!! I know there are people much worse off than me, and am grateful for the years I had before this thing started to piece meal me. It's just working overtime now (the CMT, taking things faster) and that makes it hard. Couple that with the frustration of having to move around and not knowing who to go to get help. It can be challenging. But even though I am down, I am not out!!! Thanks in advance for any info Lenore in Memphis
