Guest guest
Donna, I have used body flex and oxycise, but I always thought it was the isometric exercises and not the breathing that caused the BP to rise. Guest guest
It seems that I missed the forward you sent to the list Donna, because the message that Joy is replying to is one I didn't get. I think it is the vacuum at the end of the breath that causes the blood pressure to raise. I will have to check mine on each of the breaths. I don't have high blood pressure, but my husband does, so we have the equipment to check it. I think that some of the other breaths might be better for people with high blood pressure such as the BBB (Bay watch Bikini Breath), which is the same breath that the late night guru Tony Robbins used to lose weight. I think it might even be the same breath that he talks about in his new program he is pushing. It doesn't involve the vacuum at the end of the breath. I'll let you know what I find on each of the breaths and how they effect my blood pressure. ~Karma http://loaves-n-fishes.com http://www.karma.awarenesshealth.com Re: breathing and blood pressure Donna, I have used body flex and oxycise, but I always thought it was the isometric exercises and not the breathing that caused the BP to rise. Guest guest
Hello Tammy, I'm on Lisinopril now but 5mg.However my BP is still too high. I was on Lisinopril HCT 12/25 once a day also.. Verapmil 240mg once a day Metoprol 100mg once a day Lipitor 10mg once a day Look up your meds or call the pharmacy and read the paper that comes with your meds..see if they cause breathing problems...most if not all of these do... Went to a breathing clinic and she said my breathing was more than fine.......Now that is... Are you on any of these? Let me know what you find out...it reached a point that I could no longer lay in bed with out half way sitting up and would get out of breath do in any thing! Good luck Tammy Geri
Guest guest
Hi Geri, I am on HCTZ(water pill) and a potassium pill. Since the weather has gotten colder here in Northeast Ohio I have been having some labored breathing especially in the evening.
