Guest guest
I know I have not been on here for a while, but there has been a lot going on in my life. We went to court for my disability on October 2, 2007. I appealed it in September 2005 and we finally went to court. Well I just want to share something with you that is very exciting for me. While we were gone to my father-in-laws for Thanksgiving we got a letter from SSA. You won't believe what it said. It said we are FULLY APPROVED. THAT WAS THE BEST I HAVE HEARD IN SUCH A LONG TIME. See I have had this disability since 1978 but there was insufficient paper work. But I went a found paper work back to 1993. I have a question: What does it mean when it says: 1. Based on the application for a period of disability and disability insurance benefits filed on March 4, 2005 the claimant has been disabled under sections in SSA Act, beginning on September 29, 1993. 2. Also, it says the undersigned has been disabled from September 29, 1993 through the date of this decision. My question is does anyone know if I am going to get it forever. Also it says it takes 60 days now to find out how much money we will get in a letter. Does anyone know how long it takes to get to get the letter to let me know how much and how long it takes to get my first check?
