Guest guest
I just knew it would work out! We as Moms do need to observe and take note when something seems to not go along with the plan..or fit our childs needs. All of us maginificent : ) Mom's make mistakes sometimes when working with our kids..the therapists are bound to also. I'm glad you brought it up with her e, and proud, as I know how uncomfortable it can be. Once again... your an awsome Mommy!! .. > > Hi, all...wow, how happy I am that I had so many great suggestions!!! I mean it. I put all your and my thoughts together...then I reasoned that it would be best for me to filter it through the lead therapist --- didn't want our meeting to be one of me " telling " on another therapist...rather I wanted to know the intent behind that part of his program... > > I called her this a.m -- sent her the few things I put together...she was reading it when I called...and said, " NO that is not what she is supposed to do.... " She told me that we would handle it together, and we did...won't go into it here...but her intent of that part of the data sheet...as you know it's separated into parts -- receptive, expressive, matching, gross motor, etc.........was for transitioning purposes only (from toy back to ABA -- introducing the concept to help him better separate from mommy, etc..hard to explain in email) and for some reason we were not all on the same page and needed to be...she also was able to see how this one therapist, gets in 's space too much, and that he's lost a bit of trust in her...She is darling, but very young and no children, she understood that we are to never snatch toys away from him...she wants us to woo them away, etc....In time obviously he will need to learn to share, but as Greenspan lovers > know, he's NOT ready developmentally...That's it...went smoothly, wonderfully, and we are ALL on the same page. > > Thank you so much...this is all new to me, and while I nail most of it most of the time (little pat on my back. LOL)---I needed help last night to put words to my feelings...thanks.... > > Go !!!!! > > e >
