Hi, my 15-month-old son has had a rash ever since his last round of

antibiotics in the beginning of March. Of course, I am assuming it is

yeast. None of the topical meds have worked. Can you use an oral

antifungal with a child this young and if so, how do I convince the

pediatrician of this? Is there a natural route I can take to help him

get rid of this?

There are some liquid probiotics at health food stores. Probiotics are

very safe and could be the first thing to try before going the anti-

fungal rx route.

I can't remember the names off of the top of my head. I think Vitamin

Shoppe has some that you can order online. I also remember seeing them

at the health food store. I stayed away from the liquid because my son

had so many food sensitivities. I figured I was safer to stick to

capsules. :-)
