hi Joe, I injected myself for 2 years with Enbrel before switching to Humira

recently and must say that I personally never found the Enbrel to sting or

hurt but can sure confirm that Humira does! Perhaps it affects everyone

differently. Perhaps you could try injecting the Enbrel very slowly to

minimize the affect of the sting. Good idea to leave the drug out for a

good half hour or so before injecting.

I take the syringe out of the frig to let it come to room temp and

place an ice pack on the injection site. The needle doesn't hurt

going in because skin is damn near frozen! But injecting it...wow

that hurt! :eek:
