Guest guest
hi Joe, I injected myself for 2 years with Enbrel before switching to Humira recently and must say that I personally never found the Enbrel to sting or hurt but can sure confirm that Humira does! Perhaps it affects everyone differently. Perhaps you could try injecting the Enbrel very slowly to minimize the affect of the sting. Good idea to leave the drug out for a good half hour or so before injecting. Marilyn ----Original Message Follows---- From: " Joe Faulk " Just gave myself my 6th injection of Enbrel. Damn if that didn't hurt going in! I take the syringe out of the frig to let it come to room temp and place an ice pack on the injection site. The needle doesn't hurt going in because skin is damn near frozen! But injecting it...wow that hurt! Anyway, thanks for listening to my mini-rant! Take care, Joe
