Yes, it's xanax so you should stop taking it and call your doctor.  You more than likely won't die but you should find out what the interactions are before proceeding.  :)CherylHi all,I just got my nasal spray in the mail, today. I was hoping for a wow! effect like some have had, but I am a very impatient person (imagine that! :-) so, I'll give it a while longer! Anyway, went to the Dr. and got Valtrex and Diflucan. I noticed, (after I already took it) Diflucan's label says tell your doctor if you are taking alprazolam. Is this the generic for Xanax? I think it is, and I'm on it. Am I gonna die, or what?!! Let me know if anyone knows about this. Thanks,Susie

I just did a quick search and I am suprised to say that alprazolam is said to

interact with

itraconazole (Sporanox) or ketoconazole (Nizoral)... I wouldn't be surprised if

it interacts

with diflucan as well. I wonder why.

Either way, it might be time to stratigize with your doctor. Maybe there is

another

antidepressant that would work for the time you treat your fungus.

There's not much of a subsitute for azole antifungals.

Of course, the fungus can cause depression so who knows what might happen once

you

get healthy.

Hi everyone,

Stan, now I know what you're talking about when you said when you got

healthy, you couldn't stop smiling! Guess what? The nasal spray is

working FANTASTIC!!!!! I feel like a new person! I haven't had to

take any Xanax because I feel so CALM! Imagine that, with a 4 year

old on the spectrum and a two year old with medical issues. This B12

is awesome!!! I have a feeling that one of the reasons (there's many)

that Ben has autism is because I was a vegetarian when I was pregnant

with him. So, I really wasn't getting any B12 for a long time (15

years). I am one who can't say it was vaccination related because he

and my little one never had vaccinations. I have checked the

hospital records, too. So, I've been trying to figure it all out.

But, it might be a reason why he has trouble detoxing. Anyway, I

guess all my attention issues haven't subsided, yet. Because that

was kinda off topic.

Stan, thank you so much!!! You rock!

Susie
