Hi, I'm new here and very happy to be here!

My 3 year old is grossly delayed and looks very PDD at times, although

I haven't gotten a formal diagnosis.

We have been battling yeast from day one with her. When she was born

they thought she was seizing at birth (viruses?) and she was in the

NICU for 8 days. She developed 2 blisters on her behind (herpes?) and

they put her on antibiotics for all 8 days (why? I guess because they

didn't know what was wrong) and Acyclovir for 4 days. I think they

tried to get a lumbar puncture to test for herpes but were

unsuccessful. She also had high ammonia in her urine at birth which

lowered on it's own (or maybe with the meds.

Neither my husband nor I have any signs of herpes but plenty of other

things (yeast overgrowth, lyme, thyroid problem).

So I am hypothesizing that she has viruses. She was on SCD for 1 year

(age 1 to age 2) and then we went GFCF because she developed IgG's to

many of the nuts and developed oxalate problems.

I feel very stuck because I KNOW the carbs are growing yeast (ARGHH).

I try to limit them but I don't want too much protein because her

ammonia can get elevated. She is currently on Nystatin and it's

helping. She's been on Diflucan and Lamisil in the past and it

helped. I have a lot of trouble getting enough vegetables in her, any

ideas? She was also failure to thrive early on so I get way too upset

if she doesn't eat!!!

I watched Stan's video with the juicing and I am going to try this

definitely. What was Ethan eating for breakfast--maybe we can try

this????

Really glad to be here, you all seem to know a great deal.

Sincerely,
