Mason jar sprouting question

I was talking to my Mom last nite on the phone and told her that I had started

sprouting. She told me that she has been sprouting also (she lives in a

different state). She also has some of the green trays like I use, but she uses

mason jars also. She said that she has found that turning the jar on it's side

makes for better sprouting than leaving it upright does. Does anyone else here

do that? Have you also found it to work better for you?

When I do a mason jar for show, I also leave it on it's side while sprouting.
