Now how cool is this. I was having breakfast at my breakfast place. We are all

sitting at various tables and we talk all morning long. These people know I

sprout so I don't have to say anything.

A NEW guy comes in and sits at the table next to me. He hears me talking to the

waitress about my being obese when I was younger and he approached me and said

'what do you eat? " I then finished up my meal, went and joined him at his

table, wrote down " go on google and look up Benefits of Sprouting " .

Then I sat with him and discussed Broccoli sprouts, other sprouts, what I sprout

in, and when he said his father is a diabetic and he's afraid of getting

diabetes, and I'm looking at his plate of home fries, bacon and eggs, bagel,

etc, I said 'do you know about carbs and diabetes? and do you know what diabetes

is?? "

He said " It's high glucose levels " ? I said 'that's only part of it " . " Do you

know about the pancreas and insulin resistance and insulin sensitivity "

He said 'what is that? "

Well, we discussed healthy alternatives, and how sprouting can be a good start

to a healthy eating plan. No preaching, I just answered his questions and he

was extremely interested. He wanted to lose 20 lbs.

He shook my hand, followed me to the front of the place as we paid our bills,

and thanked me again. He said 'you know, you gave me something to think about "

I said 'you are only 46, you have a whole lifetime to learn a new lifestyle.

Just making little changes now can benefit you " He told me he is thinking of

having children.

So this morning I met a new guy, 46 year old Ben who learned the basics of

sprouting, and is going home to read up on it.

Don't know if he'll sprout but this morning he learned all about the anti-cancer

properties of broccoli sprouts, he learned about cholorphyll, he learned what I

have learned. I was there for an hour.

Life is all about teaching and learning. Whatever I learn, I TEACH.

lol
