Hi Steve,

I haven't had any alcohol in a few years now. I flare all of the time it seems.

I think it is different for everyone. There is a saying something like " Live

healthy, die anyways " . Not sure if I got it correctly, but you get the meaning.

I'm sure other people have chemo as well ... my Doc tells me not to call it

chemo but its the same thing really ... just aiming to suppress my immune

system.

Still .. it was every week .. now its every 4 weeks. Eventually I will be

off it and move to tablet form of MTX

FYI: Methotrexate is a chemo drug, they just use it in lower doses for

Rheumatoid illnesses.

Oh okay so you take methotrexate by infusion or IV? Is there a

reason that you don't do injections? I knew Mtx is a cancer medicine

but I didn't know anyone called it chemo. That's what threw me

off. :)
