Guest guest
Hi Steve, I haven't had any alcohol in a few years now. I flare all of the time it seems. I think it is different for everyone. There is a saying something like " Live healthy, die anyways " . Not sure if I got it correctly, but you get the meaning. --------------------------------- Post your free ad now! Yahoo! Guest guest
I'm sure other people have chemo as well ... my Doc tells me not to call it chemo but its the same thing really ... just aiming to suppress my immune system. Still .. it was every week .. now its every 4 weeks. Eventually I will be off it and move to tablet form of MTX Steve Re: Do flares = no chance of remission? Guest guest
FYI: Methotrexate is a chemo drug, they just use it in lower doses for Rheumatoid illnesses. Guest guest
Oh okay so you take methotrexate by infusion or IV? Is there a reason that you don't do injections? I knew Mtx is a cancer medicine but I didn't know anyone called it chemo. That's what threw me off. > > I must admit I began to be positive but now I am being realistic > when I say > > I will never achieve remission again. > > > > I just keep flaring, and it's driving me to the point of suicide - > > seriously! > > > > My Rheumy says its nothing I have done wrong to make me flare but > surely > > some people on here know whether that is true or not?
