Guest guest
Hi Betty, I had this same thing years ago (prior to Still's). Mine was so severe I couldn't walk but had to crawl to get to the bathroom (I think someone on the list mentioned this last week also). Turned out it was excess fluid in the inner ear. The treatment was very simple - over the counter decongestants for a week. The higher the altitude the worse the symptoms. At the time, I spending the week in a condo high in the mountains. After three days of not being able to turn my head even 1 inch without becoming instantly nauseated, I went down the mountain to the ER. Hardly had any symptoms once I got there. The decongestants worked like a charm. The Dr. did say no flights till it was cleared up. Good luck and hope you get feeling better soon. Be good to yourself, Barb in SLC -- babsinsl@... Guest guest
Hi Betty, I get dizzy quite often when I am turning my head (as if to look the other way). It is quite bothersome, especially when driving. (my husband wonders why I don't like to drive anymore). What is S/E? I too am thinking of switching from Enbrel to Remicade. I am not impressed with Enbrel. I had to go back on Arava, because the Enbrel along with MTX doesn't seem to be working for me. I have been on it since Feb. Let me know, how the Remicade is for you, if you decide to switch. Thanks, Post your free ad now! Yahoo! Canada Personals

Guest guest
I just asked this very same Question a couple of weeks ago. I am having the dizzy feelings frequently. It seems when ever I change positions/turn my head quickly I feel like the room is spinning. But not like I am going to pass out. This seemed to all happen after my Remicade and MTX dosages were upped a week prior. I haven't talked to my doc yet about this. It happens every so often. But like I said before. The last time I went for my remicade treatment the nurse said my blood pressure was lower than my usual count. But it is normal now.

Guest guest
Hi, I get the dizziness feeling when turning my head, but not passing out. I have been on MTX for almost 2 years now. I don't have low blood pressure. My MTX dosages have never been upped, stay at 15 mg per week. I am currently having Enbrel shots twice a week. So, anyways, there doesn't seem to be a common denominator here, except we are both taking MTX. I am going to mention this to my Rheumatologist next time I see him. I having been writing things down, so I will have a nice big list for him! I just asked this very same Question a couple of weeks ago. I am having the dizzy feelings frequently.
