Guest guest
Hi all, Well, my mustard from Whole foods, did sprout at least some of the seeds. But now they are getting black spots so I am afraid for us to eat them. Could I put just a few mustard seeds in with say clover and alfalfa and sprout in a jar or my easy sprouts when I get them? Do these always have to be grown on a medium of some sort? The ones I tasted were wonderfully spicy!
Guest guest
-they are great in mixes and generally grow well. My favorite mix is the daikon radish and oriental mustard mix. Very potent, but delicious.I put this mix into my regular green salad to up the kick-try throwing in some onion/ garlic sprouts into the mix w/ some nice apple cider vinegar dressing and youll be flying!!!!! If you don't like it that strong-it's great to mix into less spicy seeds. Sproutpeoples Hot Squared and Nicks Hot Sprout Salad are two examples.
