Guest guest
Yes, Melody-you can put the seeds right on the trays. They slide out easily for rinsing. The only thing I have found with having seeds direct on there is that they tend to want to rinse right OFF of the tray if you are doing it directly on the tray. I rinse the WHOLE thing, by leaving the trays all in place, then rinsing the top tray which trickles down to the others then into the sink. It takes it a good 15 minutes or so to quit dripping, so I just do it when I won't need the sink for that long and can let it hang. I KNOW!! I WILL TAKE A .......drum roll....VIDEO of it in action! I am not sprouting anything in it at the moment, but will start some and video the progression! Imma Melody wannabe....need more videos, lol. Guest guest
: I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL I SEE A VIDEO OF THIS. I know me, and I love gadgets and new stuff. If I like what I see, believe me in a few weeks I'll be hanging one of those things in my kitchen. After the summer though. This sounds WAY cool. lol, Melody > > Yes, Melody-you can put the seeds right on the trays. They slide out easily for rinsing. Guest guest
What onions??? I haved GARLIC hanging from pantyhose in my kitchen. Which reminds me, I'm down to the last two bulbs. How long does this stuff last in the kitchen when you hang it in pantyhose? Seems like it's been 2 months or so. Is the garlic still good?? lol Melody > > >> > > > >> > Yes, Melody-you can put the seeds right on the trays. They slide out > > >> easily for rinsing. Guest guest
Garlic is good as long as it doesn't turn soft or get very dry. If you break the bulb open and the cloves are dark on both ends, toss it in your compost pile. ew Re: Sproutmaster-now sprouting in food pantrie What onions??? Guest guest
EW. I LOVE the fact that you think I have a compost pile. I don't. but I DO reuse my sprout soak water and the left over whey (from my homemade greek yogurt) I give that to my basil. And boy, is my basil beautiful. I am also now making Chia Gel. Made some yesterday. Took a few teaspoons before going to bed. My sugar was 74 this morning. I made NO OTHER changes in my diabetic routine. I have NEVER had a morning glucose reading of 74 in my entire life. Way to go Chia Seeds Melody > > > >> > > > > >> > Yes, Melody-you can put the seeds right on the trays.
